If your screen is unresponsive a hard reboot should resolve the issue. Please see below for details on how to hard reboot your Hub Controller.

Step 1
If you don’t have the ‘black tool’ at hand, you can use the top of a small screwdriver to push in one of the black release buttons on the image below. Hub Support side view of the HubController
Step 2
The left side of the device will disconnect from the back backplate and you can then remove it. Once you have it off you, just need to click it back on. HubController help to remove front
Heating is off most likely because the set (desired) temperature is lower than the room temperature. The set temperature needs to be higher than the room temperature for the boiler to fire. Increase the set temperature and the boiler will fire. 

After each step please try and reconnect to wifi by going to MENU → WIFI

1. Restart your router:
  • Unplug your router or modem from its power outlet (don’t just turn it off)
  • Wait 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Allow the device a minute or two to turn back on.
2. Reboot the Wifi Module:
  • Go to the diagnostics screen by tapping at least 7 times on 10 o’clock on the background circle
  • Select Wi-fi module
  • Select Reboot Wi-fi module

3. Forget Network and reboot
  • On the Hub Controller, go to MenuWifi and select Forget network
  • Reboot the device: Menu → Device Info → Reboot
  • Select Menu → Wi-fi and connect to the network

Tap MENU on Home screen.

  • Select Pairing to generate a 7-digit code.
  • Open the app on your mobile.
  • Enter this code into the app.
  • Voila! You’ve now got on the go control of your heating.

You can download it from the App Store or Google Play or just search for Hub Controller.

Follow these steps:

  • Tap MENU on Home screen.
  • Then select Device Info
  • Click on the Reboot button on the right and wait 10 seconds.

The warning triangle indicates that the Hub is no longer connected to Wifi and the app and the device are no longer communicating.

No, the Hub Controller will only connect to a 2.4GHz network.

Forget Network and reboot
  1. On the Hub Controller, go to MenuWifi and select Forget network
  2. Reboot the device: Menu → Device Info → Reboot
  3. Select Menu → Wi-fi and connect to network

This deactivates the temperature sensor on the Hub Controller allowing it to act as an on/off switch for hot water.

If the wifi drops you can still control your heating manually from the device on the wall.
