So, what’s our cookie policy? We love cookies! The tea and biscuits kind, and the better web experience kind. But we get it. Not everyone loves the idea of website cookies. So, we’ve set out our Hub Controls cookie policy in a way that’s easier to understand. First, we’ll let you know what different types of cookies there are, how we use cookies here at HubControls to improve your user experience, and most importantly, we’ll explain how you can control your own cookie permissions to suit your own preferences (whether you’re using our website or any other)!

What are cookies anyway?
A cookie is a small piece of data sent by a website’s server to the browser on your computer or mobile device. In short, they are small pieces of text sent by your web browser by almost every website you visit. A cookie text file is stored in your web browser and allows us or a third party to recognise your browser so we can make your next visit easier. They also enable us to retrieve among other things, your user settings and preferences.
In addition, cookies help us monitor our visitors’ behaviour, helping us figure out how to make our site easier to navigate, more enjoyable to look at and even what lots of users hate (hint: cookie policy pages.. no-one sticks around here for long!). What type of cookies do we use and why do we use them?
